After setting the alarm, I took a nap from 10:30pm to 11:40pm, then shook Robb awake for him to play bagpipes at midnight.

If I had taken a nap, I might have welcomed in the New Year, but I just waited until the next morning. LOL!
Listening to bagpipes would have gotten me to wake up!
