(3) Bags of Pillsbury Baguette Chips in Italian Cheese & Herb

(3) Bags of Pillsbury Baguette Chips in Cheddar Sundried Tomato

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Italian Cheese and Herb. I like the Cheddar Sundried Tomato, but I am seriously addicted to the Italian Cheese and Herb. I opened the bag, not knowing what to expect, and received a pleasant surprise. The chips are like little slices of toasted breadsticks, smaller than I expected. They are light and tasty and I had a hard time making myself stop eating them. I told Hubby that I think they would also make really good “croutons” for our salads, so we are going to try that.

MyBlogSpark and Pillsbury have offered to give one of my readers a gift pack as well. Your gift pack will contain: (3) Bags of Pillsbury Baguette Chips in Italian Cheese & Herb and (3) Bags of Pillsbury Baguette Chips in Cheddar Sundried Tomato.

My new miracle cream.

I thought I would share a discovery that I made. This is not a review sponsored by anyone, nor am I giving anything away. Sorry!

I have had several dry, scaly, itchy, bumpy patches on my hands for about a year. At first I thought they were hives from some allergen, but they stayed and stayed. Then they became scaly and really itchy and really UGLY. After much research, I thought it must be eczema, though I did not get it diagnosed by a doctor. And they itched! Somedays, I wanted to tear my skin off because it itched so bad.

I tried SO many creams, including expensive eczema creams, Benadryl cream, hydrocortisone cream and anything I could think of that might help. Nothing cleared it up. The best result I got from anything was that it itched a little less. I thought it must be something else, so was thinking about finally going to a dermatologist.

Then, I got a tube of Carmex Healing Cream and starting using it. Yes, it is nice and non-greasy. I can put it on at my desk at work and go right back to working on my computer. It smells okay. The scent is light and does not overpower. And it makes my skin feel nice. Though, I do not have really dry skin, so all lotion makes my skin feel nice.

After about a week of daily use, I noticed that the itchy patches on my hands weren't so itchy. And they weren't so red. I was beyond thrilled! This was the best they had looked in a year. I would have been happy if they stayed at that level as they were less itchy, less red, less scaly and less noticable.

But they didn't. After several weeks, the patches were totally GONE! I could not believe it. I had tried so many things to clear this stuff up and all it took was a half tube of this relatively inexpensive cream. I have found that if I go without using this cream for several days, I can feel a deep itch where the patches were and see them starting to come back, so I won't be going without it at all. I have also been using the healing lotion with the same results. So I will buy whichever it the best deal.

I don't know what is in it that cleared those patches up, but it did something many, many other creams and lotions would not do. I love it! So, if you have dry itchy skin, or even eczema, try this stuff out. It just might be your miracle cream, too.

The clearance sticker almost fooled me.

It's confession time.

I went grocery shopping today and was in the "health food" section of the store when I spotted the bright orange stickers that yell "great deal". I walked over and there were stacks of Jillian Michaels protein powder. I have been using this to make a breakfast drink that I have been drinking instead of eating a bunch of calories in the morning.

I have been buying it from Amazon, mainly because I had some $$ there from surveys. But you all know me, I am going for the good deal.

The protein powder was marked "was $13.99, now $9.99". So, I threw 2 in my cart. I walked up the aisle, thinking "I should buy some more. I am just going to buy it anyway." So I headed back to get it.

Then stopped dead in my tracks.

I remembered it only costs $9.92 on Amazon.

Yes, it was cheaper on Amazon.

I thought, "How stupid am I?" And put those two cannisters back.

Thank God I remembered BEFORE I took 10 cannisters to the register. LOL!

Whew! Lesson learned: Pay more attention when I am shopping.
