NOW What am I going to do?

I admit it....I am addicted to television. I have shows that I watch almost every weeknight. Oddly, I don't watch it much on the weekends. But I leave home at 7am, spend 9 hours at work, then workout 3 days a week and get home at 6 or 6:30pm every night. I don't feel like doing much but zoning out in front of the tv. I do other things sometimes, but don't have to if I don't want to. (I am very fortunate to have a hubby that cooks dinner every weeknight so I don't have to.)

But this week, stuff ended.
The series is over.

This season is over.

This season is over.
So, now what will I watch???

Oh wait!

So You Think You Can Dance starts tonight!

Yes, I will be watching.

I TOLD you that I love tv.

DISCLAIMER: This is my blog and I can write what I want. If you think addiction to tv is a terrible thing, you are entitled to your opinion. But I am not going for treatment. HA!

I feel the same way way about Survivor! We only watched Idol last night, cause Crystal was our hometown girl, and we just had to root for her!

I never got into Survivor, though I did watch the first couple of seasons.

I think I ran out of nights. LOL! As it is, Hubby was having to tape some shows for me that came on when something else was on. My lesser faves got tapes and watched when I had time. LOL!

I loved Crystal, but I also loved Lee. I think they are equally talented and either one would have been the perfect winner.

I think that it will take a while but you will find something. I don't watch a lot of tv but if I do want to watch something I go to Hulu. You might want to check that out.
Have a great weekend!

SonyaAnn, I am so glad I could give you a laugh. :-)

I will find something to do. If there is nothing good on tv, I will read. I do actually do that, too. I AM literate.

I so agree with you. I will miss Lost. If you have Netflix try some of the BBC dramas I have been watching lately: Survivors, MI-5, Primeval or on Hulu you can watch Legend of the Seeker.
Blessings

Hi, Diane. Thanks for the suggestions. We have Blockbuster online, so I will check for some of your recommended titles. Though, I am pretty easy to please, so I don't expect to be showless for long. LOL!

Now Frances.....the first step is admitting there is a problem....lolol

Actually there is Big Brother starting again this summer if you are into those reality shows.

Or you could always do what SonyaAnn recommended on Wed for entertainment....."IRONING"! teehee

Thats funny! My mom is the same way. I only watch one show religiously and that is Ghost Hunters.

P.S you really should seek treatment LOL

Frances said...

Oh, Sluggy, my addiction to TV is NO problem for me!

I never got into Big Brother. But I COULD get into "Ironing."

Lisa, I refuse to seek treatment!! I love my addiction...and it loves me.

Have a wonderful long weekend! And thank your son for me for serving. I'm grateful for all that he has done for me and my family!

Thanks, SonyaAnn! You have a great weekend, too.

I will pass along the message.

Doesn't America's Got Talent come on during the summer? I like to watch that one an complain about the parents make their four year olds perform.

Frances said...

LOL! I am with you, Pam. Hubby and I watch America's Got Talent and bitch about the stage parents too!

I'll be watching for that. I just love to complain. LOL!

I'm so sad about Survivor and LOST ending. I'm really not a tv person and those were my favorites!!!!

Frances said...

Hi, Queenie! I am so glad that you are not addicted, like me. LOL!

So have you found anything yet?
