Some days I am so Martha!

Stewart that is. LOL! This weekend, I was SO busy!! I cannot wait until Hubby is out of the wheelchair. Update: he is doing very well and the dr is very please with how Hubby's feet are healing, but wants him to stay off of them for a while longer.

So I have to do EVERYTHING! Saturday, I went to the library to get some books and dvds...for FREE. LOL! Then, just for me, I went to Penney's and bought some new clothes. It was just time. I work in a corporate office and raggedy clothes just won't cut it. But everything was on sale and I had a coupon.

Then to the grocery store, where everything I bought was on sale and I had coupons for most of it. It was SO hot on Saturday, I was really glad to get home and stay in for the evening. We watched a DVD, and had beef stroganoff for dinner. (Oh, while relaxing, I washed all our bed linens and remade the bed. LOL!)

I intended to relax on Sunday, since I thought everything was done. Then I got a wild hair, pulled out my sewing machine and altered 4 pairs of pants that I have intended to do forever.

I also baked a loaf of raisin bread in the breadmaker. It is delish!

Then I baked 2 loaves of Cranberry Almond bread....made from scratch. It also is delish!

Made chicken teriyaki for dinner, with rice and cauliflower. Also delish!

Then, I watered all of Hubby's plants...with a 5 gallon bucket, since we are on the second floor and do not have a water hose.....

I was so tired from the weekend, that I was glad to go back to work and get some rest, today!!

You really have turned into Martha. I was tired just from reading everything that you did. And the deck looks great and so did all the food. You definitely need a rest after that weekend.

I have those bursts once a year or so :-)
Sometimes I cook on Sunday, does that count?
That all looked sooooooooooooo good.

Keep healing, hubby.

Oh, SonyaAnn and Helene, my entire family says that I am "very Martha." LOL! I love to cook, sew, do crafts and garden. I generally just don't want to do everything on the same day. LOL! Or interspersed with cleaning and laundry.

Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention that I did 2 loads of laundry on Sunday and cleaned the kitchen after dinner.

Relaxing?! Is that how you relax? By doing ALL those chores while you're trying to relax? :-)

Sounds like like shopping went well. I'm NOT ashamed to say I love a bargain & milk the hell out of coupons. Dare I say I'm a humble man!

P-L-E-A-S-E, I beg of you, don't show any more food that I CAN'T eat! It looks very yum.

Glad the band (as in hus) is doing better. Be well.
