Purex plus Oxi Review and Giveaway (3 Winners!)

Introducing Purex plus Oxi, a new stain-fighting liquid detergent from Purex!

Purex plus Oxi is the most powerful Purex detergent available. In fact, it works against over 101 different stains! The three stain-fighting enzymes in Purex plus Oxi each work against different types of stains for the most Purex stain-fighting power you can get.

Purex plus Oxi, like all liquid Purex products, has been specifically formulated to work in both high efficiency washers and traditional washing machines. And because it is from Purex, you know it won’t break the bank. Purex plus Oxi leaves your clothes Bright, White, and Clean and costs half the price of the leading brand.

A powerful combination of detergent and stain fighters

• A hypoallergenic formula with a light, fresh scent

• Perfect for everyday laundry or heavily soiled loads

• Visit purex.com for additional product information

As a Purex Insider, I recently received a free bottle of Purex plus Oxy to try for myself and I just love it. Well, of course I do….I don’t have to do the laundry. So I just got to smell it. But Hubby has used it and says it works great, just like Purex always does. Admittedly, we do not have heavily soiled laundry, so I cannot really tell you what a great stain fighter this is. But it is a great laundry detergent and we will be buying it ourselves. Purex is our favorite brand after all.

Purex is having a sweepstakes here that runs through Friday 11/130, giving away $6,000 in prizes. Purex wants to give 1 lucky winner $1,000! There will also be 250 2nd place winners that will each win $25! So, go enter right now! You can enter every day!

Purex also gave me 3 coupons for a FREE bottle of Purex plus Oxy (max value $6.00) to keep or give to my readers. Well, I am going to give ALL 3 of them away! Yeah for you! It is super easy to enter. All you have to do is one or more of the following:

• Check out Purex.com and leave a comment telling us something interesting you learned. (once)
• If you entered the Purex sweepstakes, leave a comment that you did. You can do this one every day. (daily)
• You can also enter daily by leaving a comment giving us a tip on something you do to make dealing with laundry easier.(daily)

Winner will be chosen by random drawing on Sunday afternoon, November 25 and the winner will be posted on my blog and notified by email. When you get tired of the hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving and Black Friday, you can come enter again!

Good luck!

*Purex provided me with a sample of Purex plus Oxi so I could review it. However all of the opinions expressed here are, as always, my own.

I learned that it is hypoallergenic, and I don't have to use a pre-treater. I can just use it! Thank you for the giveaway, I could really use it. I have four little girls, and laundry gets expensive! Happy holidays!

I went to Purex dotcom and saw that they now have those little "packs" or pods of liquid detergent you can pop in the washer and not have to measure and pour out from the bottle. Those are convenient for my teens to do laundry themselves and I wouldn't have to go after them and clean the spilled liquid they always leave.lol

A laundry tip.....I taught my teens how to do their own laundry so now that is one less chore I have to do. Because they are responsible for the bulk of the laundry because they can't wear stuff multiple times before washing it.....it's just so not cool to them. So, after they started working and buying their own clothes we had a talk about how clothes wear out alot sooner from overwashing and how they would have to spend money more frequently on replacing clothing because of washing too often. They seem to finally get it now since it affects their wallets. lol

A laundry tip- I start a load at night, in the morning, a put a load in and put the other one in the dryer...I now it is just a mental trick, but I get two loads a morning done a little faster, and it doesn't feel like as much!

Another laundry tip--keep a bottle of hydrogen peroxide in your laundry area. It's the best for removing stains of all kinds, even protein based ones. Peroxide lifts the stain out of the fabric and allows the detergent to wash it away.
Peroxide is a bottle of AWESOMENESS!

I learned that they have a Magic Release Stain Fighter and In-wash Booster. I had never seen that before. Thanks for the giveaway!

My laundry tip is to keep several laundry baskets (one for each family member) in your laundry room. As the clothes come out of the dryer I put them in each person's basket. It makes it easier for me if they are already sorted, so I can just bring a basket to each family member's room. As my kids get older, they can just take their basket and be responsible for folding their own clothes. :)

Laundry tip - We use wool dryer balls to cut down on drying time. Also prevents us from having to buy dryer sheets over and over again.

laundry tip-I have a small basket for everyone's clothes and 1 big basket. I dump dry, clean clothes into the big basket and sort/fold into each person's basket. If your basket is not emptied and put away then you get no more clean clothing.lol

My laundry tip for today....gee, on second thought, I don't seem to have many tips on laundry, do I?lol

I have pretreaters on the washer top and I tell the kids to treat their stains BEFORE they put clothes into the hamper, not to wait until they go to put the clothes into the washer. That way, the treatment has extra time to work on the spot.

Another laundry tip....
Take a piece of foil and make a ball and toss that into your dryer....it will keep your clothes from developing static cling.

My laundry tip for the day is to never wash towels or rugs with your clothes. It will discolor the towels and leave fuzz on your clothing.

Today's laundry tip--To keep colors from fading, turn your clothes inside out before you put them into the washer. Also use the coolest temp. of water you can that will still get the clothes clean.
