Here it comes again!

Last Thursday and Friday, I was off work, so it did not matter that we had tons of rain and flooding from Hurricane Alex.

But I am at work today and tomorrow and a tropical depression just hit around the Texas/Mexico border. Here is what our rain chance looks like:

Heres a hint: I do not live in far west Texas and I do not live near the Louisiana state line.

I'm gonna get wet.

Sluggy, I stay indoors as much as I can, but on a typical workday, I have to walk from my apartment to the parking lot to get in my car. Then I drive to the park and ride, where I walk from the parking lot to the bus. Then I ride the bus downtown and get off the bus to walk into my building.

After work, I walk 2 blocks to the bus stop to wait for the bus, anywhere from 10 - 20 minutes if the bus is on time. Then I walk from the bus, across the parking lot to my car. Then drive home and walk from the parking lot to my apartment.

I got a little wet yesterday. I do have an umbrella. LOL!

There was no rain this morning, so the weather forecast was a little off.

You poor woman! I can't believe all the rain... I spent a lot of time in Houston a year ago and was there for Hurricane Ike... so I kind of have an idea of the Texas rain scene. It is wild!

Hope you stayed dry over that wet wet weekend!

Jules, you were here during Ike? You poor thing.

We stayed at home when Ike hit and it was one of the most frightening nights of my life!

I will never stay when a hurricane is headed in our direction again.

McVal, the weatherman was wrong. We got very little rain on my side of town and no flooding.

Other parts of town were not so lucky.

So how was the weather today?
It's been pretty nice here. We rarely get good weather its mostly cold!

Hot, I guess, SonyaAnn. I have not been outside since 7:45. LOL! I have seen a lot of clouds today, but I didn't see any rain.
