I'm cheap and proud of it!

A quiz told me so! LOL!

I took the Savings Personality Test on the RedPlum site, just for fun.

And here were my results:

Frugal Felicity: You have tons of tricks for saving money, from cutting dryer sheets in half to getting free shipping on anything. If someone tells you a deal, you’ll top it. Every little bit adds up, so you’ll stop at nothing to find the lowest price. You’re cheap and you’re proud of it!

That's me! (Except I do not cut dryer sheets, as Hubby does the laundry. LOL! )

(Oh, and you can enter a contest after taking the quiz and refer people for more entries. My link is not a referral link. It is just for fun!)

Happy Wednesday, everyone!

Cutting dryer sheets?! Never thought of that! And I'm just anal enough to do it!

Yonca, hope you find out you are proud of your level of frugality.

I am!

Hi, Ace! I have been reading frugal message boards for years and have read of people cutting dryer sheets in half and some even cut them in quarters.

I just have never done that.

I'm heading over, but I'm afraid I'm going to flunk it...

Frances said...

McVal, I'm not sure if flunking it is a good or a bad thing. LOL!

I'm proud to be cheap. I know some don't consider it to be such a great quality. (But my bank account does!)

I would say that I would do alright but then the little purse problem comes to mind!

Frances said...

SonyaAnn, I am telling you, do not beat yourself up over the purses. You got a good deal and they are for gifts!

Heck, I spent a couple of hundred dollars on new clothes over the last couple of weeks. Hubby was tired of my raggedy clothes. LOL! I don't feel a bit guilty about the money I spent.

You have a wonderful husband. I wish Den was like that.
I'm over the purses, mostly.;)
Have a great weekend!

SonyaAnn, I DO have a wonderful husband. And so do you.

I am just so cheap that I don't ever buy myself clothes until Hubby tells me I am looking raggedy. LOL! So sad.

When we talk about the budget, Den thinks that I'm mad and punishing him. Perspective!

Hubbies are so silly when they think we are trying to deprive them of their spending money.

I got the same frugal level you did.
I don't even buy dryer sheets.
Who cares what people think of us cheapies, right?lol

Hi, slugmama! I wouldn't buy dryer sheets, but Hubby wants them and how can I say no to a hubby that does the laundry?!

I love being cheap!
