One of the WORST movies ever!

Let me start by saying that I will watch almost anything. I worked in the video "biz" for years, so will watch anything once. Strangely, I enjoy every genre. LOL! Hubby and I are the perfect pair, since he will watch pretty much everything, as well. (He does not LOVE "chick" movies, but he WILL watch them. LOL!)

I always give movies a lot of chances to be good and have only ever turned one movie off before it was over. That movie was "Dancer in the Dark", starring Bjork, that we tried to watch several years ago. Hubby only watched about 30 minutes of it, then went into another room to watch something else. I think I made it through an hour and could not take it anymore. For those that watched it and liked it, my hat is off to you.

Well, last night Hubby went and got "Paranormal Activity" for us to watch.

We love MOST movies. We love SCARY movies. We love movies that are supposed to have really happened.....

This movie almost put me to sleep. It was not scary. I did not like the characters and I cannot BELIEVE I watched it all the way to the end. Hubby wasn't quite as put out with it as I was, though he agreed that he didn't find is scary either.

I have talked to some people that liked it, but I will tell you Hubby and I are not those people. I won't ruin it for you. Maybe you want to watch it and maybe you will like it.

But don't let your kids watch it. It is full of the F-word.

Here is hoping to find a good movie to watch soon, to erase the memory of this loser movie.

Haven't seen and don't want to! I'm not into freaky scary, especially if it's supposed to be from a true story.
I watched a movie called Far Country once and my husband hated it. Whenever I left the room, he sped it ahead several minutes. At the end I was stumped as to what had happened as nothing really held together... Duh.. now I know why...

Hi, McVal! Our problem is that we enjoy freaky scary and this just wasn't it as far as we were concerned.

I don't know if we ever saw Far Country. LOL! At your hubby confusing you. Mine would do something like that.

I haven't seen it because I thought it looked sort of silly. We watched the Inglorious B. with Brad Pitt last week and I really enjoyed it. Except that I forgot my glasses and couldn't see the little print on the TV. I caught about half of the French. : )

We compare all crappy movie to Super Nova! It was by far the worst movie. We call all bad movies Super Novas! Or a bad day! We actually got into a fight because Den wanted to shut it off and I said Hell no, we made it this far and we are going to see this d*** thing through. So save yourself and don't watch that either!
If you are looking to laugh until you snort and love low brow movies, watch the Hangover. I cried!
Thanks for the warning!!

Hi, Pam, I am looking forward to watching Inglorious B. I LOVE Brad Pitt.

SonyaAnn, to funny about calling bad movies SuperNova! I don't know if we ever watched that one.

We did watch Hangover and it was pretty funny! I don't think I snorted, but it was funny.

It's different in the theater. I do NOT get scared at "scary" movies. This freaked me out. For weeks.

Kellie, A.Marie and Queenie Jeannie, thanks for stopping by!

Queenie Jeannie, sorry you were freaked out. I really don't think it would have been different for me at the theatre. I think I am too analytical for movies like this. I found too much to pick apart.

I wonder if I could call my life a Super Nova! Just kidding, well most of the time.
Have a great weekend!

SonyaAnn, I think your life is a never ending adventure!

I have been missing you, like crazy, SonyaAnn. And missing all the rest of my blogg friends. (But you the most!)

I have been so busy, I have barely had time to read any blogs and NO time to blog any. Hopefully, I will be able to rectify that soon.
