Someone is doing crack on Facebook!!

Yes, I am on Facebook. I registered and set it up to keep in touch with my kids. I am also on MySpace for the same reason. I thought MySpace was enough, but Samantha..our college student....wanted Hubby and me to both get on Facebook. So, we did.

It has been pretty cool, since some of my family in Tennessee is also on there, as well as some friends and we keep up with what each other is up to. A really cool thing is that I have gotten back in contact with people from high school and most especially, I have gotten together with my best friend from jr. high. We became "not friends" our Sophomore year in high school. But we are friends again and I am very happy about that!

Why do I say someone is doing crack? Because, last night I got a friend request from Hubby's EX-WIFE!! What is up with THAT?! We have 2 mutual friends.....2 of our kids. (Meredith is not on Facebook.) I don't know why Hubby's ex thinks I would want to be her friend, or her be mine. Well, besides the fact that she is a little Jeckyll/Hydish. Sometimes she is really nice to me and sometimes she is pure evil. Fortunately, since the kids are grown, we have almost no contact with each other. Thank God! I told Hubby about the request and he is equally baffled. (Hmmm... maybe she misses me!)

I am choosing to ignore the request, since there is no option to respond, "What the hell were you thinking?"

I thought you were referring to Facebook itself; it can be very addictive.

That is odd! I would stay the Hell away from her. I can't even imagine wanting to even speak to my ex! Is she slow?

She probably wants to keep 'track' of you and your moods, etc. Or she's just a FB junkie trying to get as many friends as she can. either way....weird. I'd ignore the request too.

You know, Annie, I thought Facebook was addictive until I found Blogger! LOL! I think it is much more addictive.

SonyaAnn, the ex is not really slow, but clearly she is odd. LOL!

Spaghetti, I am staying away. I don't know why she would want to track my moods, since they don't affect her. Maybe she thinks I will have grandkid pics on there before she does.

Thanks, everyone, for stopping by.

Hmmmm, I would have loved to been able to reply to her and say "not no be UT NO &*&* way" if it had been me. But yeah I would ignore too.

HA! that is super funny. Maybe she wants to stalk ya! LOL... I agree with PP about some Facebook people are friend hoes! They gotta have the most friends regardless of who they are.

I would say it's more about wanting to have friends. People like to collect them like stickers even if the connection is very slight or even distasteful!

Facebook is like crack though with all its fun applications!

Facebook frightens me. Too many politics regarding friend requests, status updates, and what the hell is "poking"? You guys are brave for registering on there! Fortunately, you can just ignore her friend request. Don't you wish it were that simple in real life? That would be awesome!

Hi, everyone! Thanks for stopping by!

It is pretty easy to ignore the ex in real life as we never have to see each other. All family get togethers are totally separate. There is "this side" of the family and "that side." LOL!

I refuse to be collected. LOL!

Oooohhhh...that is very strange....You are right in totally ignoring THAT request! But, as your loyal blog friend, I know why she wants to be your friend, because you are so darn wonderfu...and also a great cook!

However, she cannot be your friend because she does not appreciate you like we all do! :)

ooops, my "l" was left off of wonderful. So, you are now just wonderfu!! LOL

A.Marie, you are so sweet! I don't know that the ex thinks I am so wonderful. After all, I have been trying to steal her childrens' love for 13 years. LOL!

Frances, I think Facebook should add the option, to respond with, "What the hell?" It's the best way to let someone know exactly what you're thinking. How short-sighted of them?!

LOL! I agree with you Chicagolandia!
